Evicted contestants may return to show

La Casa de los Famosos México 2026 has introduced a new dynamic called El Exilio, where eliminated contestants can potentially return to the competition. The two contestants eliminated so far, Mariana Ochoa and Ximena Herrera, are waiting in El Exilio to see if they will be voted back in by the public.

Galilea Montijo, the show’s host, announced that voting is now open for the public to decide who will return to the competition. Mariana Ochoa, the first contestant eliminated this season, is already waiting in El Exilio, a small room with minimal amenities.

Ximena Herrera, the second contestant eliminated, was sent to El Exilio after a dramatic showdown between her and Masad Altamimi. Although she was initially thought to be out of the competition, she is now waiting to see if she will be voted back in.

Any contestant who returns to the competition from El Exilio will have immunity for one week, but they will not be able to nominate their fellow contestants. This new dynamic adds an exciting twist to the show, as contestants must now adjust to the possibility of eliminated contestants returning to the competition.

The second elimination gala was filled with drama and surprises, as contestants positioned themselves and formed alliances. The only serious confrontation was between Masad and Ese Pérez, who continued to argue even after their turns to speak.

Ernesto Laguardia was the first contestant to be saved, and he was greeted with applause and cheers from his fellow contestants. Memo Schutz was the second contestant to be saved, and Cynthia Klitbo was overjoyed by his return.

Voting for the competition is still open, and viewers can cast their votes through the show’s official website or the ViX app. To vote, viewers must log in to their account, enter the voting section, select the contestant they want to save, and confirm their vote. Viewers with a ViX account have 10 daily votes, while those without an account have only one vote per day.

As the competition continues, the show’s format will shift further, with contestants forming new alliances and strategies to stay in the game. With the introduction of El Exilio, the show has added a new layer of complexity.

Fede Vigevani, the show’s infiltrado, is playing a unique role in the competition, as he is not eligible to win the grand prize but must instead complete missions to affect the show’s outcome.
