
La Vendemmia in Milan’s MonteNapoleone district offers a city-wide tasting route that blends classic Italian fare with Asian influences, all at a set price of €40 for lunch and €75 for dinner.
Historic venues anchor the tasting tour
The itinerary begins at the iconic Marchesi 1824 and Cova cafés, where diners can enjoy saffron risotto and roasted pumpkin alongside seasonal crab.
From there participants move to the venerable Sant Ambroeus and the rooftop terrace of A’ Riccione Terrazza 12 on Via Durini, which provides panoramic views of Milan’s architecture.
Evening service shifts to the La Cupola Bistrot at the Park Hyatt and the newly refurbished Caruso Nuovo inside the Grand Hotel et de Milan, where executive chef Francesco Potenza prepares a Nocellara olive broth, a mixed-pasta seafood stew, and a traditional babà.
At the Mandarin Garden of the Mandarin Oriental, chef Antonio Guida serves veal with tuna and a Navelli-saffron risotto for dinner.
Chef-driven experiences across the city
The Bulgari Hotels & Resorts location introduces a new format called Da Niko, conceived by chef Niko Romito. Lunch begins with veal meatballs in green sauce, followed by a mushroom, parmesan and licorice risotto, and finishes with tiramisu.
Dinner at the same venue features a sea-bream carpaccio with lemon and chili, a beef filet with green-pepper sauce, and an apple tart with milk cream, honey and citrus.

Chef Claudio Sadler of Casa Baglioni adds his signature dishes at Sadler, while Bice on Via Borgospesso continues the tradition of refined Milanese cuisine.
In the busy Piazza Cordusio, the Ristorante Isola showcases Southern Italian specialties, and the Japanese restaurant Sachi offers sushi and sashimi within the Gran Meliá complex.
New entries expand the map
Among the latest openings, Gio Gio’s on Via Caminadella presents a multi-course dinner that starts with guacamole, bagna càuda crudités, green-bean salad with artichoke hearts, and tuna carpaccio with orange, hazelnut and pink pepper.
The main plates include linguine with clams and a veal rib with sage-parmesan crust, followed by a classic crème brûlée.
Chef Moris La Greca curates a surprise menu at PanEVO in The Westin Palace, emphasizing seasonal flavors, while the nearby Acanto at the Hotel Principe di Savoia serves tomato-filled “buttons” for lunch and a fassona tartare with marrow pearls for dinner, then duck breast with pepper-crust, apple-mango chutney and caramelized carrots.
Further north, the Ristorante Berton in Porta Nuova remains a staple for contemporary Italian cuisine.
Oriental flavors close the circuit
The newest addition, Sushisamba inside the Torre Velasca, presents three varieties of sashimi, tiger shrimp with ponzu butter, lime, daikon salad and chives, accompanied by chimichurri rice.
