Chadwicks Group has opened its first Northern Ireland location at Ravenhill Business Park in Belfast, bringing The Panelling Centre and Sitetech together under one roof. The new outlet marks the first time both specialist businesses have operated in the region and represents an expansion that has created eight new jobs. Access to products and support for local tradespeople

The facility provides tradespeople with access to kitchens, wardrobes, and a range of construction and civil engineering products. According to the company, the Belfast operation is being led by branch manager Amanda Bothwell, who has 20 years of experience in the industry. She spent 11 years with Homebase and a further nine years with Doorways before joining Chadwicks Group, where she completed its Leadership Development Programme.

Bothwell said the opening represented an “incredibly exciting” opportunity. “Having worked in the industry for 20 years, I know how important it is for tradespeople to have access not only to the right products, but also to knowledgeable people who understand what they need,” she said.

The Panelling Centre, which has almost 50 years of experience in the kitchen and wardrobe market, will stock a core kitchen range at the branch. The selection includes 20 kitchen door styles, eight worktop options, cabinets, storage solutions, sinks, taps, bins, handles, accessories and appliances. A selection of wardrobes will also be available, while customers can order from the company’s wider product range.

Kitchen displays at the branch will allow tradespeople to view different styles and finishes. Sitetech, which was established in 2011, specialises in concrete and brickwork accessories for the construction and civil engineering sectors. The Belfast branch will stock almost 2,500 Sitetech product lines, supported by technical advice from its specialist team.

Local leadership and investment

Former Ulster Rugby player Chris Henry officially opened the branch. The company is offering trade customers deals on appliances, kitchens and worktops until August 29, subject to availability. John Paul O’Reilly, Managing Director of the Specialist Products Division at Chadwicks Group, said the opening was a “significant milestone” for the company.

“Belfast has a thriving construction sector, and this new branch gives local tradespeople access to two specialist businesses, an extensive product range and expert support all under one roof,” he said. “We’re particularly pleased to create eight new jobs as part of this investment and to have an experienced local team in place to support customers from Belfast and across Northern Ireland.”
